Discover a Different Drop at St Leonards Vineyard

St Leonards Vineyard is our favourite cellar door hideaway located on a picturesque bend of the Murray River; just what you'll be wanting if you're escaping the city. Cellar Door opens every Saturday and Sunday and offers a modern elegant range of wines. The Kitchen, which opens at midday, offers casual fare focused on wine pairings. Visiting on the first Saturday of the month? Enjoy live entertainment at Music on the Murray, Rutherglen's favourite live music event.

Experience Barrel Hall Tastings at All Saints Estate

A trip to Rutherglen wouldn’t be complete without visiting the All Saints Estate Cellar Door. Enjoy the beautifully manicured gardens, heritage castle, and several barrel halls lined with giant sleeping fortified barrels. From textured whites to rare, handcrafted reds, and treasured fortifieds, there's a fine wine for every taste. If you're a true wine enthusiast, don't forget to ask about joining the All Saints Estate Wine Club, Wine Royalty.

Reconnect with Friends and Family at Bonnie

Bonnie is the new architecturally designed eatery at All Saints Estate, perfect for families and groups of friends. Choose from eight pizzas and a handful of salads, charcuterie and cheese platters. Lunch bookings are available Wednesday through Sunday or enjoy a cosy dinner Thursday to Saturday. The wine list includes modern and approachable varieties like Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Grenache and Shiraz.

'Sip' the Region From Your Bar Stool

If you're planning a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night out in Rutherglen town, don't miss city-meets-country Wine Bar & Store, Thousand Pound. Try the pan-fried Kefalotyri cheese with figs, smoked almond and vincotto, or the speciality steak grilled over charcoal and served with fries, watercress, mâché garnish and truffle dressing. The core of the wine list is local too, so it's an easy way to ‘taste the region’ without leaving your stool at the bar.

Get Back to Nature with a River Walk

When you're ready to burn off all that wine and food, we highly recommend a morning walk on the Murray River Trail. Located at the back of All Saints Estate (enter via Grantham's Bend), walk or cycle to Wahgunyah while taking in the beautiful old gum trees, wetlands and birdlife. Look closely and you might even see sheep grazing within the All Saints Estate Old Vines. A great way to start your day and an even better way to end your trip.
