KINdred Dining

20 October 2022

Summer is just around the corner and I’m so excited to finally share a project we’ve been working on for quite a while now! All Saints Estate is re-energised and ready to welcome you throughout those long, sunny days. In fact, Northeast Victoria sees more sunny days than Surfers Paradise throughout the year. Plenty of opportunity to take a roadtrip and soak up the new surroundings.

Perhaps you’re already familiar with Bonnie, our new casual eatery? Well now, we can introduce you to her bigger sister, KIN: a classic restaurant with warm interiors and epicurean dining where our wines, and fresh, seasonal produce are the stars of the show. Think pan-fried Murray Cod or striploin with bone marrow. We drew on favourite family memories while conceptualising the space and wanted to reimagine dishes that our mother and grandmother used to make. As well as the feeling of sitting in a comfortable family home, of course. It really is an extension from our family to yours.

Technē have fantastically realised this through the architecture and interiors. Beautiful timber joinery creates a feeling of intimacy and connectedness that’s complemented by earthy interiors, a floating fireplace, and wide glass doors that overlook our iconic duck pond and 90 Shiraz vines. We wanted to create a space that seamlessly blends the outdoors with the indoors and is truly comfortable at any time of year! You can reserve a table in KIN or book a private dining in a separate well-appointed room for up to 20 people online.

So what does a day at All Saints Estate look like? No winery visit is complete without a tasting at the Cellar Door, of course, so this is a great place to start – we offer complimentary tastings to our Wine Club members and access to our Family Room: a beautiful private tasting room. Otherwise, walk in and do a tasting for $15 or upgrade to the Family Cellar Tasting or our unique Muscat Experience. This is where our region shines. Our Muscat Experience talks about the history of Rutherglen and the Muscat variety, while four Muscat tastings ranging from five to 50 years old. You can really immerse yourself in the region and taste history in a glass!

From there, take a seat at any of our eateries. Bonnie, KIN, or at the Cellar Bar where you can grab a coffee or buy a glass of wine to go with a plate of oysters, cheese, or charcuterie. You can easily make the most of your time at All Saints Estate by planning ahead and reserving a table at one of our restaurants. Wine Club members with restaurant bookings can expect something special for them throughout their stay. From Cellar Door to Private Dining, the entire space is designed to help you socialise and unwind over the course of an entire afternoon or evening. I can’t wait for you to experience it for yourself.

With thanks (and Happy Holidays!)

Eliza Brown
