Halliday Awards

13 August 2021

Last night, the 2022 Halliday Awards took place; we're thrilled to share some of the highlights for All Saints Estate and St Leonards Vineyard.

 Results at a glance:

  • Ten wines from All Saints Estates scored 95 points or higher (Gold), plus the Estate (All Saints) achieved Five Red Stars and was described as a 'must-stop for anyone visiting North-East Victoria.
  • 95 point wines from All Saints Estate included the 2018 All Saints Estate Pierre, our blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and named in honour of Peter Brown. Jeni Port described it as "well-composed and quite the beauty", plus our 2018 All Saints Estate Durif also scored 95 points, described as "sensitive handling and winemaking on show".
  • For a second year running the All Saints Estate Museum Muscadelle scored 99 points, with the Museum Muscat scoring 98, affirming their iconic statuses. "Very, very few fortified makers in Australia have the depth and breadth of cellaring material to enter into Museum territory".
  • At St Leonard's Vineyard, Hip Sip Muscat scored 90 points with its profile described as "Rose oil to the fore, emphasising a smooth palate with chewy sweet toffee and golden syrupy sweetness. Young, fruity and delicious". This is a wonderful result for Hip Sip which bucks the trends with a modern approach in a very traditional category.

Congratulations to Nick and the winemaking and vineyard teams, who work tirelessly year-round to produce wines of outstanding quality. Today your work is rewarded and recognised by the experts in our industry!
