Whilst our wines are the lifeblood of everything we do at All Saints Estate, it’s not just about what’s in the glass (sorry Nick). A visit to our stunningly beautiful part of Australia can wrap up a whole host of sights, tastes with one big beautiful bow. And a gift card is one of the best ways to share this experience. Â
So what would we do if we were given that little plastic treasure? Firstly, make the time to take a tour. Take the magnificent drive up the All Saints Estate driveway under the shade of our spectacular Elm trees. Step into the cool interior of our 1864 castle and immerse yourself in a piece of Rutherglen winemaking history. Enjoy a complimentary glass of our signature Estate Marsanne or Durif to start your tour - two grape varieties that are unique to our region. Â
The tour takes you through our old Muscat vines, first planted in 1920, as well as Shiraz vines planted in 1998. Â
Did you know that All Saints Estate is the site of Victoria’s oldest standing Chinese Dormitory, with the highest level of heritage protection in Victoria? There’s also the curious gnarly tree - forged by nature, it grew around the faulty bricks discarded from an old kiln when the Castle was being built 161 years ago.Â
From the estate’s viewing platform, marvel at breathtaking vineyard views and spot the open-air vats, still in use since the 1880s, a testament to our winery’s enduring craft.Â
You’ll also be able to explore the underground Family Cellar and heritage buildings, the Barrel and Great Halls, where award-winning wines mature in 5600 litre barrels and then conclude with an Estate Tasting Experience featuring five classic All Saints Estate wines. Tours run daily at 10 and 11am and bookings are essential for this highly sought-after and unique winery experience.Â
Before you turn your attention to some take-home cellar additions, settle in and indulge at our signature, award-winning restaurant, KIN. Enjoy our set menus inspired by family recipes and childhood memories featuring produce from our vegetable garden and the region, all while soaking in vineyard views. Savour rare back vintage wines and famous fortifieds, alongside international icons from the old world and new. Led by Executive Chef Jack Cassidy, KIN offers an elevated winery dining experience not to be missed.Â
Or, linger over a lazy summer lunch at Bonnie, our nod to the Estate’s Scottish heritage. Bonnie is about beautiful moments, taking in the 48 hectares of farm, garden and vineyards along the banks of the famous Murray River. Somehow our spectacular setting, beside the lake, surrounded by the majesty of the castle and the landscape, makes a glass of our blushing, crisp All Saints Estate Rosa, or the fruited elegance of St Leonards Vineyard Cabernet Franc bring out the flavour more and makes it all more enjoyable relaxing on a glorious sunny day.Â
