In honour of Mother's Day, we're sharing Jan Brown's renowned salmon recipe. Known for its simplicity and deliciousness, Jan's method involves seasoning the fillet with a dash of white wine and a hint of dill. It's a family favourite that's sure to impress.Â
Ingredients:Â
- Salmon fillet (one per guest)Â
- Salt and pepper to tasteÂ
- Lemon juiceÂ
- White wineÂ
- Fresh dill sprigsÂ
Instructions:Â
- Preheat your oven to 175°C.Â
- Place a piece of baking paper on a baking tray and lay the salmon fillet down.Â
- Season the salmon with salt and pepper, drizzle lemon juice over the salmon and gently pour a splash of white wine over the top.Â
- Place fresh dill sprigs on top of the salmon.Â
- Fold up the baking paper to create a parcel, ensuring it's tightly sealed.Â
- Bake for 10 minutes.Â
- Carefully unwrap the parcel and serve your perfectly baked salmon.Â
