This summer, swap your usual pour for something a little more playful. From spritzes to sangria, these recipes are fruity, refreshing and perfect for entertaining.
Aperol Spritz
Ingredients:All Saints Estate 2024 Prosecco, Aperol Aperitivo, Soda water
The classic Aperol Spritz ratio is 3-2-1, which means you will need 3 parts Prosecco, 2 parts Aperol, and 1 part soda water. With this ratio, your cocktail is flavoursome, not too bitter, and not too sweet. Fill a wine glass halfway with ice, then add prosecco, aperol and soda water. Garnish with orange slices and a rosemary sprig.
Red Sangria
Ingredients:All Saints Estate 2023 Merlot, Brandy (100ml), maple syrup (100ml), orange and lemon slices, cubed mixed fruit (typically apple, but anything goes)
Simply add all ingredients to a large jug. Stir until maple syrup has fully dissolved. For best results, refrigerate overnight to allow flavours to develop. Serve over ice, adding a splash of soda water or lemonade for extra fizz.
Thousand Pound Negroni
Ingredients:St Leonards Vineyard HIP SIP Tawny, dry gin, Campari, orange bitters
Our very own twist on a classic that you may have spotted on the menu at Thousand Pound. Combine equal parts of tawny, gin, and Campari with a dash or two of orange bitters, and stir. Pour into a lowball glass over ice, then garnish with a piece of orange peel.
Muscat Espresso Martini
Ingredients:All Saints Estate Rutherglen Muscat, freshly brewed espresso (cooled), coffee liqueur (e.g. Kahlúa)
Another Thousand Pound specialty. Substituting the vodka from a traditional espresso martini with muscat adds a unique layer of honeyed sweetness and floral notes. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add one shot of muscat, one shot of espresso, and half a shot of coffee liqueur to the shaker. Shake well until the mixture is thoroughly chilled. Strain, and garnish with coffee beans.Â
Moscato Margarita
Ingredients:All Saints Estate 2021 Moscato, tequila, triple sec, chopped strawberries, lime wedges and juice, sugar granules
In a small dish, pour sugar. Rim glasses with lime juice then dip in the sugar. Combine equal parts of moscato, tequila, triple sec with strawberries, lime juice and ice in a blender. Blend until smooth, garnish with lime wedges and serve.
