2025 Vintage Reflections

The 2025 Vintage is now complete, and althought I hesitate to be prematurely confident, the wines are looking fantastic across the board.

Mild spring temperatures, occasional rain, and even shoot growth set the vines up beautifully.

A warm start to the new year allowed for gradual ripening, with the first grapes - St Leonards Chardonnay - harvested on January 31st. The remaining white varietals ripened in quick succession, after which we played the waiting game for the reds.

During this period, we received around 50mm of rain over a weekend. Fortunately, the timing was ideal, giving the vines a much-needed refresh without compromising quality.

The first red variety, Cinsault, was hand-picked on February 21st, followed by the remaining reds over the next two and a half weeks. In an exciting departure from our usual process, we harvested and fermented Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Cinsault separately this year - rather than co-fermenting them before blending with Shiraz for the All Saints GSM. Each parcel is showing great character, and the winemaking team and I look forward to bottling them individually.

The2025 All Saints Rosahas already been bottled, and we're now preparing the All Saints Chardonnay for its turn.

A huge thank you to the entire team for making this vintage a success - I very much look forward to sharing these wines as they’re released.

Cheers, Nick.
