At All Saints Estate, each variety planted in the vineyard, whether new or old, traditional or modern, reflects its place in the world. Our winemaking philosophy is all about making the most of our unique place – the soil, river, climate and fruit – to create handcrafted wines that truly reflect where they were born. From vineyard to bottle, each part of the process is painstakingly overseen by winemakers Dan Crane and Nick Brown. From vineyard biodynamic practices, labour intensive hand picking and sorting, gentle pressing in the 1883 vintage basket press, hand-plunging in open fermenters and quiet barrel ageing, a duty of care is taken to deliver something very special. Our careful approach involves a deliberate lack of intervention with our fruit to produce elegant, complex wines of integrity and depth; wines of place.
