"All Saints Estate 2010 'Pierre'

Beautiful packaging on these All Saints wine.  And it’s also a little bit exciting reviewing a Rutherglen red right under Mattinson’s nose.

Red and black fruit, coal dust and ferrous stuff, aniseed and fine spicy oak – some gum leaf aromatics too. It’s medium bodied, firm and well shaped through the mouth with bright minty fruit and a dusty trail of tannin running long into its sweet red and blackcurranty finish.  Lots of charm here. Excellent wine. Good now, likely better with age."
