All Saints Estate Marsanne
2010 $20-$22

Marsanne performs well at All Saints’ historic Rutherglen vineyard. Floral, apple, lemon and honey aromas are made more complex by a whisper of barrel influence. The palate is dry and generouslt built, with attractively creamy mid-palate richness and textural qualities, finishing long and satisfying. (Screw cap; 12.2 per cent alcohol.)

Ageing? Drink over three years.

Food ideas Hainanese chicken rice; vitello tonnato.

Stockists include Leo’s Fine Food & Wine, Key; Burwood Cellars.
